Houston Medical Imaging announces the implementation of DynaCAD in the analysis of Breast MRI exams.

DynaCAD is a digital imaging workstation with a comprehensive set of computer-assisted diagnosis (CAD) tools for performing real-time image analysis and interventional procedure planning. DynaCAD provides radiologists with a powerful set of image viewing and analysis tools for significantly improved workflow and increased diagnostic confidence.

Similar to computer-assisted diagnosis in digital mammography, DynaCAD is a powerful tool used to analyze breast MR exams. In conjunction with the In Vivo 4 channel dedicated breast coil used on the GE 1.5 Tesla MRI, Houston Medical Imaging now provides the most advanced technology available. This is one additional step in the development of a Women’s Diagnostic Center of Excellence.

With the installation of the Siemens 3 Tesla TREO with TIM technology in November (est.) 2006, Houston Medical Imaging will begin performing MR-guided breast biopsies.
